“Not a Good Woman” emerged as an artistic exploration of at-home music production techniques, serving as a poignant commentary on gender-based barriers faced by women. Delving into the dichotomy that categorizes women as either “good” or “bad” based on adherence to traditional archetypes, the song seeks to challenge societal expectations of female gender performance.

The primary goal of this project was to create a concise yet impactful song, paired with a visually engaging video. For the video, I adopted a stylistic approach inspired by stop-motion, utilizing collage elements that complemented the song’s lyrics. This cohesive blend of audio and visuals not only enhanced the overall storytelling but also added a unique artistic touch that resonated with the audience. The final product succeeded in capturing attention through both its distinctive style and emotional depth.
